Following her shock split from her management agency CAN comes the grimly inevitable news today that Kerry Katona is being kicked out of her Surrey home.

Apparently the singer has until 5pm this evening to get belongings together and move out of her pad before it's repossessed, however she's currently got nowhere else to go to.

Up until now CAN have been paying the rent on Kerry's house and have been paying for her other expenses and now she's massively in debt with them as all her income has been funnelled into paying off her bankruptcy.

Now she's only got £400 left in the bank. Speaking to the News of the World today, Kerry said:

"I am still bankrupt, despite working my butt off for the last 17 months.

"But when I made the decision to break ties with them (CAN), all the support they'd given me was pulled in one go. I understand why and I don't think it's unreasonable, but it's left me in the most desperate situation.

"The worry is so intense I've only been managing to get a few hours' sleep each night. I'm putting on a brave face for the kids - but the money side absolutely scares me to death."

Despite her desperate situation Kerry is adamant that she won't turn back to drugs again and maintains she has been clean for the last 17 months, and to prove it she's even bizarrely submitted a hair sample to the News of the World so that they can do a drugs test on it.

She also dismisses claims that she was on a "bender" before being ditched by CAN, however she admits she did go a tad wild while on holiday in Marbella.

"First and foremost, I am NOT alcoholic. Four Jägerbombs and a pint of lager and lime and that's me done. As for my behaviour in Marbella, I went with my friend, Mel B's sister Danielle. It was my first girlie holiday ever so I had every intention of getting drunk - and I'm not apologising for it.

"After Marbella I went to Danielle's birthday party and then out to the May Fair hotel. That's just twice in a month - yet I'm supposedly wild and off the rails. Alcohol has never been a problem for me.

"And that picture of my head in a bag? I was actually looking for my car park ticket."

Speaking about what she claims was her decision to leave CAN, Kerry said:

'But it was MY decision to leave CAN Associates. I just didn't like the way things were going. I want to work and do a proper job. And what I really want to focus on now is being an actress.

"Unfortunately CAN Associates isn't an acting agency. And that's the reason we parted company."

Well if that is the case then that's the worst business/life decision Kerry could've made for her kids and for her.
